Our future Spa Attendant will join our esteemed Spa department at Corinthia Brussels. As a Spa Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our spa facilities and providing guests with a serene experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keeps abreast of newest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry.
  • Greet guests warmly upon their arrival at the spa, providing a special welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, bookings, and any special requests, ensuring prompt and personalized service.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the spa facilities, including locker rooms, treatment rooms, and relaxation areas.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for guests, ensuring all amenities and supplies are replenished and ready for use.
  • Perform the treatments offered to clients: wellness massages, facial treatments, body treatments, while adhering to the protocols of our partner brand, Sisley.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies throughout the spa, including towels, robes, and refreshments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene protocols.
  • Listen attentively to clients and address their needs and expectations to foster loyalty.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their spa experience.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as stipulated by the Health and Safety Act and as applicable to your place of work. This will include the incumbent’s awareness of any specific hazards at the work place.
  • The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.
  • To report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure.
  • To ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.
  • To attend statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and to be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning:
    • Fire, Health and Safety
    • Regulations, such as COHSS in the European Union, related to the control of substances hazardous to health.
    • Risk Assessments for your department
    • Hotel Fire & Bomb Procedures

  • As the hotel’s level of business varies considerably, there is a need for flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours.

Skills Required

Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • Previous guest exposure in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry especially in a Spa

Skills and Knowledge

  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch (Additional European Language is a super plus)
  • Impeccable presentation and grooming, reflecting our commitment to luxury.
  • Mastery of massage techniques and aesthetic treatments (manicures, pedicures, waxing, etc.).
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Prior experience in high-end hospitality

Education or Qualification:

  • Wellness/spa sector diploma required
