For our client in Brussels, an Investment Company with assets in Real Estate and Hospitality, we are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join the team in Brussels. Offices are located in Louise area, with easy access by public transports (Metro Louise).
Prepare and analyze hotel P&L reports, budget, forecast, cash flow of the Group’s portfolio, aid CFO and Shareholders’ decision making.
Prepare and analyze feasibility, cashflow reports of in-pipeline and on-going development projects.
Prepare and follow up rental reports of the Group’s student housings, residential buildings, office buildings.
Follow up loan agreements, terms, payments with banks.
Prepare ad-hoc reports when required.
Support senior manager and CFO in strategic matters and consolidated reports.
Highlight potential improvements when needed.
Act as a counterpart to external stakeholders such as the board of directors, shareholders, banks, business partners, investors.
Closely cooperate with other internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, development), e.g., on transactions, hotel operations or in project development.
Skills RequiredCandidate Profile
Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Prior work experience in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or consulting
Prior work experience in hotel and/or property management is an advantage
Experience/Expertise in financial analysis, financial reporting
Self-starter, problem solver with analytical and strategic mindset; strong analytical skills, affinity to numbers
Independent and well-organized when working across diverse tasks
Initiative, proactive and result-oriented approach to work
Strong Excel skills
Interest in property and hospitality management
Team player with an international mindset and intercultural skills
Strong communication skills in internal and external settings
Excellent English and French language skills (working language). Fluent in Dutch is a plus
