For our client in Amsterdam, a major player in the Catering Industry and with offices accross Europe, we are looking for a Senior HR Officer.

This is a perfect role for someone currently working in Hospitality Industry and looking for a career change!

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Provides overall administrative support to the HR department, ensuring a correct and timely handling of all administration and HRD related matters.
  • Takes care of the co-ordination and implementation of all communication a related issue.
  • The person has a direct impact on and contributes to the individual employee relations by the quality and correctness of her handling of correspondence, appointments, data collection.
  • The function also has a direct impact and contribution to the collective employee relations by the elaboration and daily handling of all issues concerning communication towards the staff.
  • Responsible for all HR related administration and follow-up: individual files, documents, attendance records, labour accidents, HR databases (addresses, sickness, training,..).
  • Takes care of, contract preparation, medical examinations…as well as outgoing personnel administration (exit documents).
  • Keeps the collective insurance administration up to date and informs employees / insurance company of new / changed items.
  • Assists the HRD and Terminal Manager, depending on the workload & priorities, and participates in the development and implementation of general HR programs.
  • In charge of the Train attendant and employee salary and wages calculation.
  • Takes care of all administration related to interims weekly contracts.

Skills Required

Candidate Profile

  • Administrative work oriented; excellent handling of office software, especially word processing & document/data handling.
  • Punctual and organized.
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Able to take initiatives.
  • Good communicator and developed social skills.
  • Showing discretion and confidentiality Knowledge:
  • Native speaker in Dutch o
  • Good level of English
  • Computer skills: MS Office o Good Knowledge in social legislation NL and payroll related software
