What will I be doing?

In this position, you will be supporting our Director of Sales & Marketing. You will be responsible for generating business & follow up on existing accounts from corporate & MICE segments and to follow up & optimize marketing initiatives.

  • Uses negotiating skills & creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
  • Assists with the selling, implementation and follow-through of group sales promotions
  • Coordinates & executes site inspections and property visits
  • Provides expert knowledge on local destinations
  • Building successful relationships
  • Helps achieving revenue goals
  • Develop & optimizing online marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition
  • Use of different online tools for group quotations and for group management
  • Supporting the group desk supervisor and events coordinator in converting new leads into confirmed business

Skills Required

What are we looking for?

  • 3 years experience in similar position in 4*/5* hotels with high volume of MICE & corporate business
  • University degree in Tourism, ADE, Marketing or similar.
  • High level of English and French or English and German
  • Previous experience in event operations, as well as in the BT and TTOO segments.
  • Mastery of the Office package.
  • Mastery of Sales & Catering tools, Travelclick, Lanyon, Agency targeting, STR, SAP CRM.
  • Leadership, results orientation, influence and negotiation, teamwork, global and strategic vision as a key competence.
  • Use of different online tools for group quotations and for group management
  • Supporting the group desk supervisor and events coordinator in converting new leads into confirmed business
