Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in hospitality profiles, is looking for a General Manager for one of our clients, a prestigious luxury hotel (+100 rooms) offering an elevated and bespoke guest experience. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of the property, with a core focus on Rooms Division and a strong involvement in people development and human resources.
This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional with an authentic luxury mindset, a strong background in Front Office and Housekeeping, and a genuine interest in talent management, team empowerment, and HR strategy.
As General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all daily hotel operations, with a particular focus on Rooms and Guest Services. You act as a true leader on the floor, coaching your Heads of Department, ensuring consistency in service excellence, and fostering a positive work environment.
With your deep understanding of luxury service and attention to detail, you inspire teams to go the extra mile while actively contributing to the hotel’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the hotel, with a strong focus on Rooms (Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations).
- Ensure seamless and personalized guest experiences aligned with luxury standards.
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement and service innovation.
- Support the General Manager in business planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Actively participate in HR matters: recruitment, training, performance reviews, and team development.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to your department heads, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Maintain brand standards and compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Compétences
Profil du Candidat
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel operations, ideally with a Rooms Division focus.
- European city experience is a must
- A solid background in Front Office, Guest Services, or Housekeeping is essential.
- Proven people leader with a strong empathy-based management style and experience in HR-related functions.
- Strategic thinker with excellent operational, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence.
- Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is a strong advantage).
- Flexible, proactive, and resilient in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
