Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality profiles, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales & Event Manager for our client, a unique and high-end event venue located near Brussels.
Our client’s venue is a characterful, modern space designed to host contemporary corporate events—meetings, seminars, conferences, product launches, networking events, and strategic workshops. With a strong focus on the business market, this premium location offers a stimulating environment where autonomy and versatility are key.
As the Sales & Event Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the premium experience the venue is known for. This position requires a hands-on, flexible, and proactive approach in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Sales & Client Management
- Actively manage and expand the client portfolio, building lasting business relationships.
- Welcome clients, conduct venue tours, and deliver compelling presentations.
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and event timelines.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, staff, and external partners.
Event Coordination & Execution
- Oversee business events from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Independently organize smaller events and collaborate with caterers for larger productions.
- Ensure high standards of quality and guest experience during every event.
- Supervise flexi-jobbers and student staff to guarantee smooth operations.
Operational & Organizational Support
- Provide operational support to ensure flawless event execution.
- Contribute to optimizing workflows and enhancing the overall client experience.
- Assist in maintaining the venue’s premium appearance and functionality.
Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Participate in developing and executing the marketing strategy.
- Provide input for commercial tools, including brochures, pricing, and website content.
- Help reinforce the venue’s reputation as a top-tier business event destination.
Skills
Kandidaat Profiel
The ideal candidate has proven experience in the MICE sector (hotels, catering, event agencies, or venues) and demonstrates:
- A versatile mindset, able to think strategically while being hands-on when needed.
- Strong commercial acumen and a customer-first approach.
- Administrative proficiency in managing inquiries, quotes, contracts, and invoices.
- Independence, proactivity, and flexibility (evening/weekend work may be required).
- Fluency in Dutch and French to effectively engage with a diverse clientele.
